Unlikely Supporter now Making Cannabis Documentary

Former TV host and Hairspray star, Ricki Lake, has become a surprising cannabis advocate, announcing she is working with Abby Epstein in creating a documentary on medical marijuana. Entitled “Weed the People,” the focus of the film will be the families of sick children who have moved to Colorado having been profoundly affected by having access to high-cannabidiol (CBD) strains of cannabis known to treat illnesses such as epilepsy.
